✍️ About Me

My name is Chris Glenn. I’m a verifier for the Teton Area Rapid Response Network, Safety volunteer, Legal Observer, and one of the founders of JH Action—a grassroots coalition of activists dedicated to advancing a more just and humane immigration enforcement policy. I have no law enforcement experience, but I don’t see it as a weakness. Not being part of this Sheriff’s department means that I am free of the internal biases that so often plague those who work in law enforcement. I represent an opportunity for the community to police the police, to be a check on the executive power of the county, and a deterrent to the status quo. I’m running to keep ICE agents out of our town and Flock cameras off our street corners. I’m running so that no woman in Teton County has to fear arrest for accessing healthcare or feel unsafe leaving their drink unattended at a bar. I’m running to protect our most vulnerable residents—immigrants, people of color, the LGBTQI community—at a time when their rights, their freedoms, and even their lives are under threat. And I’m running because I believe that every single person in our community is deserving of dignity, safety, and respect, and that the character of a Sheriff can be measured by who feels safe calling for help. Should you decide to support me in my candidacy, we can together institute community oversight within the Sheriff’s Department, ensuring that no county resources will be spent on enforcing inherently discriminatory state statutes. Because I am running as an Independent, I need your signatures in order for my name to be approved for the general election ballot in November. I want to be a Sheriff that really listens to your concerns and takes them on board. You can speak with me today or email me anytime at chrisglennforsheriff@gmail.com with any questions, suggestions, or concerns. I’m looking forward to hearing from you, and if I don’t know you already, I hope to know you soon.
