Soooo let me tell you a story:every single day that god creates, my grandma Ansam (we call her tattou) sends good morning greetings on whatsapp between 5 and 6am. 💐she’s been collecting and choosing the digital flowers and curating a very consistent art direction. I receive one flower everyday. If you’re one of the lucky ones you receive one too. It’s been years of the daily flowers.&nbsp; When I asked her who sends them to her, she said “انا ببعتن للحلوين” meaning “i send them to beautiful people” avoiding my question smoothly. Then I proceed by asking where she gets them from, and her answer, iconic as she is “من الجنينة” aka “from my garden”.&nbsp;This project named “my grandmother’s garden” was shown as 7 different paintings at the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/menart_fair/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">M</a>enart Fair&nbsp;in September, and a very cute french grandmother bought my favorite.&nbsp;Limited edition of 60. 🌹

Good Morning

This poster stemmed from a series of talismans imagined to keep toxic people away. “Ma7ada Merte7” roughly translating to “no one’s totally sane” or “no one’s doing well” is a proverb I used in my daily life to cope with the craziness of people around me. Inspired by ostentatious domestic objects whose function is to protect a private place, “Ma7ada Merte7” becomes the proverb we say to ourselves so as not to go crazy in a crazy world. Remember that everyone's reality is completely unique and that their vision of the world is different from yours.

This poster was a long time in the making. A eulogy to places where we let our mind rest and our hearts settle. We can create new roots in other places. My trinity is Beirut, Paris and Marseille. Those words are written in calligraphy. The trips are back and forth. Gold risography on black art paper. What’s yours holy trinity? Limited edition of 35.&nbsp;

Initially a painting, this print came to life due to popular demand. “Fi iyyem hek” means there are days like this, and it is written twice under each character to express that there are days where we feel starry and days where we feel rainy, imagining that we are a sky. This poster reminds to make space for all of our feelings, and accept that not all days will feel the same, and that’s okay. We need rain for the flowers and we need stars for our eyes.
