Morning or evening. Weekdays or weeknights. You choose.
Find a match, or create your own, play, and see how you stack up on the leaderboard.

HOW IT WORKS
• Create or join a match through the app (Bam Good Time) and choose a day, time, and Chelsea/280-area location that works for you.
• Each match is four hands and takes approximately 1.5 hours. Beginners can opt for a 2-hour match when creating their game. Want to play more than one match? Schedule two back to back!
• Matches are first come, first served, so you can play with different people throughout the season and meet new mahjong friends, (and also play with the friends you know.)
• Play as often as you want! Your best two matches each week count toward your leaderboard score, but every match remains in your Game Log.
• Scores are based on the Chelsea Mahjong Scramble scoring system.
• The leaderboard updates as scores are confirmed, so you can watch your standing throughout the season.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
• All matches are played using the 2026 NMJL card and standard NMJL rules.
• All four players must be registered Chelsea Mahjong Scramble members.
• The host provides the mahjong equipment. Everyone brings their own cards.
• Scores are entered and confirmed through the app after each match.
• Leaderboard winners will win prizes including: tiles, racks and a mat.
Most importantly, this is meant to be FUN. Whether you're newer to mahjong or have been playing for years, Chelsea Mahjong Scramble is a chance to play more, meet new people, and enjoy a little friendly competition—when it works for you!
